Let the Countdown Begin…

In less than 12 weeks, we’ll be leaving for Trinidad!

We’ve finally gotten both of our passports! I was a little worried about Landon’s for a while, but we got everything approved just in time. We’ve also received more information about the trip, and our missionary leader, Rick Mitchell, is working on finalizing all the details. The trip is paid in full, and Rev. Mitchell is getting our tickets ordered!

I can’t even begin to express how excited I am for this trip! From the moment we first felt called to missions, it seemed like everything started to fall into place without much effort on our part. I know eight days in Trinidad may not seem like much to some, but I believe it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey to serve God abroad. I don’t know what the future holds or how often we’ll be called to serve in other places, but I do know we’ve been called to this trip this year.

Please continue to pray for us as we enter the final stages of preparation. Our family’s goal remains the same: to submit to Him in all our ways so that He may direct our paths—this one being the furthest He’s ever taken us.
